Peer Support Worker for Choice Recovery Path in Las Cruces, NM
What we're looking for: CCSS (Comprehensive Community Support Services) credential in good standing in the state of NM.
Are you an individual who is interested in making meaningful change in our community on a daily basis? CRP is seeking Peer
Support Workers who are looking to work in substance use/ behavioral healthcare and with individuals in our community. This job offers the ability to work with individuals in the community to aid them in their time of need to gain skills, resources, and meet them where they are. In this role, you will facilitate IOP groups, provide individual support to clients and pair up with another team member, travel to the person in need of support and help to devise a solution for their immediate situation. Your team will problem-solve with the client and provide resources for issues they may be facing such as finding a safe supportive space for their mental, emotional and/or physical needs.

Job requirements
Must hold a valid CPSW, CCSS certification
Experience working with individuals who have mental illness, and substance use disorders.
