We are expanding and looking for Licensed Independent Clinical Therapist to Join us!
Position Overview:
The Clinician II will be responsible for providing services to clients with addiction and mental health diagnosis. This position requires a deep understanding of addiction medicine, and behavioral health. The Clinician will work closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide individualized care. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people in need and have the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services.
Assess and diagnose mental health, and substance abuse.
Develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services.
Educate clients and their families about addiction, mental health.
Provide supervision as needed.
Actively participating in treatment team meetings and company training.
Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans.
Ensure all documentation is done in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

Job requirements
To be considered for the Therapist / Clinician role at Choice Recovery Path, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or closely related field.
Independent New Mexico license required (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT, and PhD).
Current and Valid New Mexico driver’s license.
Ability to become credentialed with payor sources.
Successful experience in mental health, substance abuse or related field, preferably a minimum of 3-5 years.
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
Experience in or the ability to learn how to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, which includes appointment scheduling, authorization, tracking, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Experience working with those who have mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual disabilities.
