Job description
Choice Recovery Path (CRP)
Changing Lives One Choice at a Time
Lead With Purpose. Practice With Passion.
Clinical Program Supervisor (Working Clinical Supervisor) | Albuquerque, NM | Full-Time | In Person
At Choice Recovery Path (CRP), great leadership starts on the front lines. We’re looking for an experienced, independently licensed clinician to step into a Working Clinical Supervisor role. Someone who can carry a caseload and grow a team at the same time.
This is a dual-role position: part hands-on clinician, part mentor and leader. You’ll provide direct client care while supervising and developing our clinical staff, ensuring our team delivers the kind of high quality, compliant, recovery oriented care our clients deserve.
If you’re ready to shape clinical excellence from the inside: mentoring staff, sharpening practice, and staying connected to the work that drew you to this field in the first place, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Supervision & Leadership
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff, including therapists and case managers
• Review and co-sign clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and billing readiness
• Monitor staff performance, deliver feedback, and support performance improvement as needed
• Onboard and orient new clinical staff for a smooth integration into the team
• Offer regular individual and group supervision and mentorship, ensuring services align with client treatment plans
• Provide in-the-moment support and guidance to staff during clinical crises
• Serve as a go-to resource for evidence-based practices in co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented treatment
• Deliver in-house clinical trainings alongside other clinical leaders
• Participate in leadership and case review meetings to strengthen accountability, workflow, and service quality
• Monitor adherence to CRP’s policies, procedures, and best practice standards
Direct Client Services
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for incoming clients
• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention as needed
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
• Diagnose mental health and substance use disorders in accordance with DSM-5 and other clinical standards
• Collaborate with internal staff and external partners (medical providers, probation officers, etc.) to coordinate services
• Educate clients and families about recovery, relapse prevention, and coping strategies
• Document all services in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner
• Monitor client progress and update treatment plans to reflect evolving needs and goals
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning sessions
Why CRP?
We invest in our leaders the same way we ask our leaders to invest in their teams:
• Competitive Pay: $37.00 - $58.00/hour, depending on experience
• CRP covers 90% of your medical, dental, and vision insurance
• First-Time Home Buyers Assistance Program
• Continuing Education Assistance
• 12 paid federal holidays + PTO + paid sick leave
• 401(k) & life insurance
• Real advancement opportunities
• Autonomy to do your best work
• A team that values your voice. Every decision is made in service of high-quality client care, not the bottom line
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
• Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field
• Independent professional license required (LPCC or LCSW)
• Current Board-approved clinical supervisor status
• Eligibility to become credentialed and privileged to conduct assessments as a qualified assessor
• Specialized knowledge of co-occurring substance use disorder assessment and treatment
• Comfort balancing hands-on clinical work with supervisory leadership
• Experience in outpatient and/or sober living treatment settings
• Ability to work non-typical hours, including evenings, nights, or weekends as needed
